Save Yahoo Classic Parlor Games

Please don't change these games.. we love the way they are now

Why not have two versions of Yahoo games...the existing one and an updated one

Tons of people use this so that they can have conversations with people and meet new people...put admins back in to kick the booters and scrollers out and you would solve the majority of the problems. Several people, including myself, look forward to having someone to talk to..especially during the winter months when there really isn't much to do.

Some of us have been playing and chatting in these parlor games since the early 90's, to get rid of them would really suck. Yahoo should just do their job and admin the rooms like they are supposed to!

So Many has used this to pass the time that cannot leave their homes to meet with friends and play pool and interact with friends, changing this after 15 years making it so everyone is isolated will cause people to go separate ways, we needed help with booting and some minor java issues not take what little we had to pass the time in which most loved and faithfully done for over 10 years, that should account for something, please keep pool and other parlor games, card, ect the way it is, it will ruin the leagues as well, this is a sad day seriously.

PLEASE DON'T TAKE OUR GAMES AWAY. WE LOVE THEM (MOSTLY) AS THEY ARE. ALL THE CHANGES THE NEW CEO HAS BEEN MAKING ARE HORRIBLE. COME BACK THE WAY WE LOVED YOU, YAHOO.

Keep it like it is

why this "new" idea? plzz leave the games as they are. Most of older and new players loves as are now. If you do what is announced, yahoo will lose. Not only his players, will lose marketing position. Sure another company wil be positioned and in short time.

keep it the way it is and offer those with tablets and smartphone the option to play it on there tablet or smartphones.

Please keep the games. Some of us consider the people we play the games with like a second family, and it will be devastating to those of us to lose this. Please keep them.

Yahoo! Pool: Here's how we make it work (Part 1) First of all, thanks for providing this feedback forum for the new games. I'm currently majoring in computer science and business at university, so I think I have a reasonable, if incomplete, understanding of how things move in this space. I've also been a Yahoo! Pool player for 10+ years. First, I want to give a brief history of my affiliation with Yahoo! Games, in particular Yahoo! Pool. I first played the game at the age of nine. I assume this was probably against the rules, but since I'm twenty now, I hope you can let this indiscretion pass. At the time, I barely even knew about computers, but when my dad, who was playing at the time, invited me to try it out, I instantly loved it. In truth, the reason he first invited me to play was because there were some opponents that he couldn't beat in the league he was a member of, and he wanted me to try. At first, I was obviously outmatched by these competitive players who were generally, if not always, much older than I. As time progressed, however, I started to get a feel for the real strategy in the game. From there, I would later go on to play in a number of leagues. Occasionally this was Yahoo! Allstars, though other times it was independently hosted leagues. I cannot possibly explain to you how much fun there was to be had on this game in those days. Every pool lobby was absolutely full of people, and cheating programs weren't common at all (if they even existed). From there, I would go on to play in what we call camtasia competitions. Essentially, these are competitions where players record their screens during gameplay, so that their opponent can be sure that no cheating is taking place. In organizing such competitions, it was the devoted players, not the Yahoo! engineers that solved a critical problem. I'm by no means an expert on Java coding, but it is just so hard to believe that the brilliant team of engineers at Yahoo! have not been able to solve

I really want that classic ypool. The most reason of Ypool being popular was its chat lobby. If u change it, there would be no more motivation to CLICK on yahoo.

I've played yahoo pool for 14 years on and off, I have ADHD and this game is the only thing that relaxes me, it got me through university, I met some great people in this game, some great times have been shared here. In todays age, replacing this games is like deciding to get rid of Central Park to make room for a "new and improved" park with slides, laser tag and hookers(with AIDS).

we have supported your site for years, by making these changes, it will no longer work for us and we are forced to go somewhere else, which there is nothing that i have found. All the time and friends we have put in. At least make an option for us that want the games to continue the way they are. This is horrible
