I've been to the Wine Bar once or twice and always try to get there when back in Mold. It would be a huge loss to the town if it were forced to close.

The Wine Bar is the only decent place left in Mold town. Good service and quality beers and food. Unlike a lot of places respect for the neighbours is always a first here too.

As long as the wine bar is considerate of noise pollution regulations, there shouldn't be a problem. If the neighbours wanted a quiet life why did they choose live on a busy street amongst business trying to make a living?

Y Delyn Wine Bar is an incredible pub, incredible restaurant and most importantly in these circumstances without a doubt Molds best music venue. Cosy, welcoming and friendly at all times. It's a bar you're more likely to find in cosmopolitan areas of a big city, mold and we the people of mold are graced to have such a place accessible to us. It would be an absolute atrocity for Y Delyn to be put in the situation where it would be no longer able to open it's doors to the people of mold aswell as the people from miles around who love this bar so very much. It's a no brainer really.

As a college in the trade I more than most understand the difficulties of operating under current legislation and having visited Y Delyn several time can assure you that this venue is an asset to the area and should be encouraged to continue trading in the professional manor which it has for many years. I could but won't mention several other venues which bring nothing but problems to the area yet continue to go unchecked. FCC need to reLly look at the bigger picture here and help this fantastic venue to flourish not to hinder its progress. The current licencing act was supposed to encourage cafe culture not stifle it.
