I started going to the Y Delyn probably sometime in the late 1980's and during that time made some great friends. I emigrated to New Zealand 8 years ago and the first time I went back to the UK was last year, back in Mold the one place I knew I had to go was the Y Delyn where I was guaranteed a warm welcome and catch up with old friends. If Mold loses this gem then It will be a sorry day for the whole town.

Fantastic nostalgic wine bar, small, friendly a which invites young and old in socialising and musicians to play. Brings a safe water hole to Mold.

Its hard to believe that with the onslaught of "Brand" Pubs that the unique and original establishments would be threatened with closure due to silly little technicalities like this. I have spent many an evening in y delyn and its great, the perfect alternative to the traditional Boozer. I hope the licence is granted and that the wine bar is an appreciated part of the Mold night time scene.

I fully support this application. Y Delyn is a lone centre of wonderful, quality nightlife, somewhere I found totally unexpected in a town like Mold. The town is so much richer for its presence.

Y Delyn is a much needed cultural hub in Mold. I fully support it's application to extend it's live music licence to 1am.
When I moved to Mold in 2004, it was through Y Delyn's music nights that I met life-long friends. Because of their music nights, I became more than just a resident of Mold, I became part of its community.

We always visit the wine bar when up in the Wrexham area. It's one of the few drinking holes in the area that is cool, friendly, cosy and there's never any trouble.

Keep the new music playing to keep the bar growing in many years to come. Why is it neighbours don't complain about red lion and the noise there...?! Same thing other side of the town. Difference is, wine bar has charachter, soul, charm, good food and music.

The Wine Bar offers a different atmosphere to most pubs in Mold and the addition of the live music open mic nights has improved upon that substantially. Live music is an important part of Mold's culture and it brings people of all ages together in a friendly and good spirited interaction.
Live music should be encouraged for young and talented musicians to flourish and for people to just have fun and enjoy.
Please grant Y Delyn an extended licence so that they can continue to provide excellent entertainment for the local folk of Mold.

As a regular visitor to the Wine Bar, I would be disappointed if the establishment were not to have it's live music license granted and were to subsequently close.

Y Delyn is a gem. Why do the big clubs get all the breaks when places that play decent music get sidelined. A sure way to promote tourism to the area is to help interesting/intimate venues like the Delyn. Hopefully there'll be a re-think.

I support the application. Y Delyn is an important venue in Mold it has a long tradition of providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere, somewhere where you could always go and catch up with old friends.
I urge the Licensing committee to allow this application.

Venues such as this one are so wonderful. They provide a sense of belonging and enjoyment to the clientele, a great attraction for tourists and opportunities for musicians. Perhaps the neighbors should join in, instead of complaining. Give them a pint, some crisps and a chair!
