As a Jaguars fan since 1996, it's sad to see them come and go.. Thanks to the failure and incapability of the top management.. Now to see the Rams go is so sad.. Another pioneer team gone.. Bring back all the pioneer teams.. Privatise the league & clubs.. No more politicians interfering in Singapore football..

As a former resident of Yishun for most of my life, when the S-League started in 1996, Sembawang Rangers was the local team for me. As much as Woodlands Wellington was the closest thing of a rivalry (due to the proximity), to see the closure of the Stallions made me disappointed. When the news of Woodlands Wellington (who is one of the pioneer clubs of the S-League) being "merged" (that turns out to be a farce) and the whole drama that accompanied it, it sickens me to see that the Northern Rams (whom some of them are friends of mine) being blindsided by shady "business" of some people with hidden agendas just proves that the people who claimed to look after the football health in Singapore are liars. You don't respect history and traditions, don't expect me to follow your call to respect your definition of history and traditions.
Bring back the Rams!

Though a Hougang HOOL through and through, I'm AGAINST the ripping apart of Woodlands Wellington. Our S.League needs the strong identity of traditional clubs' presence (like Jurong FC, Sembawang Rangers, Tanjong Pagar, Gombak - and now, Woodlands), to have a meaningful league we can call our own.
Very simple principle, quoting a fellow Hougang HOOL: don't take what's not ours. We want all of us clubs to GROW TOGETHER, as much as I want a strong Hougang United. Despite minority of myopic "fans" who just lambast the wrong people (the Hougang fans who are against the "merger").
As long as they (S.League, Hougang United management etc) do what is right, bring back WWFC and the other historic clubs once more.
