Reducing car parking will negatively impact local businesses. It will not encourage people to use public transport, they will just go somewhere else they can park.

This car park needs to stay. As a local who uses it regularly and having family in surrounding roads struggle enough to park in their road as it is due to shoppers parking in the roads.

Businesses already struggle in that area. Taking the car park would completely obliterate them. There is no other car parks available in this area and only residential which is dire enough to park on and should be left for what they are, residential. Do not take that car park away, it is a BIG mistake for the people of New Ferry with catastrophic consequences.

The council consulted with the community, their wishes and ideas were not listened to. There should have been opportunity for feedback from the community to negotiate and change the plans before it got to this stage, otherwise consultation with the community is pointless.

I am opposed to the plan to build all over the car park. It will lead to problems with people parking in already overcrowded surrounding roads and it will discourage use of the few businesses there are left

The carpark is a massive help for me, weather it be going to Iceland or any of the other shops, taking my kids to the park or attending whats on in the New Ferry Village hall.
