I think this is disgraceful Government cuts are bleeding dry the NHS to then be privatised. Taking away the Drs surgery will mean there will be savings initially but it will not take long for the costs to esculate 999 calls, visits by drs, beds in hospitals and more people suffering early and nothing being done. Also note CCG the surgery is in a conservation zone so making money on the land won't be easy!

Older patients would have great difficulty in getting to Lower Green Surgery , and even more difficulty getting back. Parking can be difficult, I had to go to Lower Green a few days a go, I had to drop my wife off , it then took me about 20 mins. to park my car. If the appointment had been for my self I would have missed my appointment. This problem does not happen at Wood Road

The community needs this surgery- if it's closed it will have a detrimental affect on many of the patients who will not be able to travel such a distance of their proposed new surgery- you need to think of the needs of people and not how much you will make financially

How will closing a surgery make the service better?? Bottom line is...it won’t.

Having the surgery so near is a god send with young children and no car some days. Shutting it will make getting to the doctor infinitely more difficult. I also worry about the elderly residents too

Please dont shut this surgery. It will add pressure to other surgeries in the area who are already overwhelmed.
