The 1st good surgery I’ve been to for 30 years, please don’t close it! Like others on here, I don’t drive and would find it difficult to get to Lower Green.

I’m a local resident with elderly family members who would find it difficult to travel to lower green. If this surgery closes I fear local residents at lower green would be seriously affected by patients parking outside their homes as the parking at lower green is not suitable to hold a full time clinic plus other services.

The GP Surgery is so important to the local community. How are the older people with mobility issues or people who don’t have their own transport going to get to lower green surgery??!!! How is lower green surgery going to cope with the influx of extra Patient? There will not be enough parking onsite and it is impossible to park off site. At rush hour traffic people are going to struggle to get to lower green without having to sit in traffic, which will increase congestion on roads that are already extremely busy!! You will find that more home visits are requested as people won’t be able to get to the surgery. Surely this will mean that the GPs and ANPs wont be able to see as many patients!! Please don’t let the people who use Wood road surgery suffer and allow it to close.

Madness to loose a valuable service now for savings when the the costs will be great in the future with Dr visits, 999 calls, A&E visits and deaths. More money needs to be invested not taken away. Keep our NHS invest in it not high speed rail links Brexit and greedy business men.

It is vital that we keep a surgery in Tettenhall Wood. The area has an ageing population and services need to be close at hand for those who walk to the surgery. I'm not even sure if there is a bus service that serves Lower Street for those that rely on public transport. Also parking, for those who have their own transport, is difficult at the best of times in Lower Street so people will park in the street. Congestion in the area during surgery times will be a nightmare for the local residents.

The Drs surgery at Tettenhall Wood is vital to everyone in the community who is registered there and is need of a Dr .It is part of our community! The elderly and infirm will find the travelling to Lower Green difficult especially those who do not have transport. Youngsters, nursery and school children are able to go to and from school to the surgery in a matter of minutes so as not to miss lessons or education for inoculations etc. The bus service does not drop you at Lower green Drs. The parking at L Green is limited, a small (usually full) two main roads either side so no parking is advisable. Over 4000 patients are registered at Wood rd Tettenhall wood who are happy to stay at the surgery, and are happy with their care this amount of patients will be added to the thousands that use Lower Green There will be the same amount of Drs but more patients at the same surgery if this goes ahead. I feel the needs and services in T wood are once again being overlooked. The impact on the local retail and businesses etc will be huge and we already have limited shopping & facilities as it is.

Wood Road Surgery must stay open to provide vital primary care to our local community. Many people do not have transport to travel to Lower Green.
