As a commercial IFR pilot, I really don’t see how the Windsor Control Zone can remain safe without a tower.

Please do not shut down atc. We are in close proximity to two major airports and the airspace is directly underneath Detroit metro.

Windsor’s airspace is far too complex to be without ATC services. There are frequent commercial flights arriving and departing coupled with 2 flying schools at the airport. Additionally the added complexity of DTW and DET makes leaving this airspace unsupervised a recipe for a catastrophic event.

Windsor is a unique airport with a mixed complex airspaces between Detroit and Local Windsor. There are 2 flying schools, 3 Airlines and a chapter flight in and out of Windsor mixed with the air traffic out of Detroit. It' will be an accident waiting to happen without the ATC.

As a commercial pilot who has spent many years flying out of Windsor and in many areas of the world, I would like to comment that the airspace surrounding YQG is busy and complex. It would be irresponsible to illiminate air traffic control services.

We need these services to keep our airways safe. Please do not take this away. Our airways is busy with the Windsor airport, and the private smaller planes and the school.
