I am fairly certain many residents don't love paying some of the highest water/sewer rates in the entire state of Texas. How is is that every comment is one-sided? Are the comments being censored?

I’m a real estate investor and currently own 4 properties that get their water from WOWSC, but have owned as many as 11 over the years. If anyone wants lower rates its me. It’s shocking how many of our members are deceived into believing WOWSC actually takes joy charging higher rates than necessary. How absurd. The rates are high because of the lawsuits filed by Flunker, Sorgen and Ffrench DUH. Same persons behind all the lawsuits (marina, and now even the airport!). Lawyers are the winners - not the persecuted, honorable public servants of our NON PROFIT water supply.

Having served on the Windermere board for the last four years, I can say unequivocally that this small group of people is causing an unbelievable amount of harm and expense to our neighborhood. My family has been a part of Windermere since 1989...the lawsuits and divisiveness have to stop!

I've been a resident of WO for 2 & 1/2 years. I'm disheartened and disappointed by all of these unwarranted lawsuits. Trying to reverse a legal land sale will only result in more litigation we'll all continue to pay for. I'm indebted to the generosity and service of the volunteers of WOWSC and would love to see what they can do free of the burden of lawsuits. It needs to stop. Also, our rates are insane because of this!

Please stop the lawsuits they are doing nothing to reduce expenses - they only continue to increase the costs of our water bills - lets get back to paying for water and not lawsuits - let's get back to peace, forgiveness and reconciliation in this wonderful neighborhood with our wonderful neighbors.

The Supreme Court of Texas (the highest court in Texas) concurred with Court of Appeals decision. I think we should respect that decision, stop wasting money and work together. A few people in this community have cost all of us a lot of money that could have been used much more affectively.

Windermere Oaks and the Spicewood airport are one of the finest places in Texas to live. But even better are the people who call this place home. To the very few people who insist on ridiculous lawsuits, you must stop! This is too nice of a place to live and you won’t spoil it for the rest of us.

Our family has been in Windermere since 1991. My father served as President of the WOPOA for many years. He passed away last year, but was appalled by the lawsuits that were taking place. The attacks need to stop so we can all get back to the peaceful neighborhood that we have enjoyed for so many years.

I am relatively a new resident at the Windermere neighborhood. We decided to live here as it seemed a nice, quiet neighborhood with friendly folks, away from the hustle of a big city.
I am shocked at the number of frivolous lawsuits that are filed against volunteer directors who are dedicated and work hard to keep the costs low for everyone.
I fully support this petition to stop frivolous lawsuits. The energy, time and money spent on this could be used for the benefit of the neighborhood and bring the community together!

We have associated with WOWSC since 1997 and their directors, for they most part, have been excellent and have served with distinction. We are fortunate to have these dedicated volunteers, that relinquish their valuable time for our benefit without any compensation. We must support them in their hour of need. These few bullies and antagonistic trouble makers do not deserve respect in our neighborhood. Their divisive actions hurt Windermere Oaks, lower the property values, and costs us hundreds of thousands of dollars in lawsuits. Their possibility of succeeding are minimal and it seems they take this venue to make themselves self important. It is time for these bullies to move on. Ray and Mary Booth

As a property owner since 2008 I have worked with a number of current and former WOWSC Directors while serving on different WOPOA committees: 1,3,5 year Planning (’13-’17), Pools (’12-’14), Storage Lot (’14-’15), & Social (’11-14) as well as with the Central Texas Water Coalition during the 4-year drought ending in 2015. I fully support these fine neighbors and their solid & honest efforts on behalf of our Water Company. They have gone above & beyond during an extremely stressful period.
