Mr. Keahi is an important part of the community, and has worked hard to be there.

Keep MALA "mala" Uncle Wilson has maintained that property for years he has also kept all of the boats stored there safe from all of the drug addicts that surround and occupy the beach at MALA Wharf! Everyone respects him,he has served so many boaters and is a fisherman himself! It's crazy to think that money could change all of this! Leave his boat yard alone!!!

It's sad to see how many changes are coming to Lahaina and to watch our roots fade away.

I lived on Maui for 42 years n Malia boat yard has been a significant landmark n part of my life. I paddled for Kahana Canoe Club when we were based at Malia n Uncle Wilson Keahi was always polite n supported our Canoe club tremendously. He himself was born n raised in Lahaina n is of Ancient Hawaiian decent whose ather was 100% Hawaiian. I support local business owners to the fullest n would love to see Wilson Keahi retain ownership of the business n boatyard. Thank you for hearing my petition. Aloha !!!

Practically spent all my baby days down at mala. Love that place! Literally stomping grounds. Brings plenty memories back with my Father Bobo Neizman.

Mala will always hold a special place in my heart. Would be heart broken to have this taken away.
