I am a retired educator who taught at Clementon Elementary school for 31 years. Many times the barrel try to consolidate our school system and many times I work long hard hours to keep that from happening. Some nurturing environment of a smaller school benefits every child. There were 550 children and our K to 8 schools and our superintendent knew the name of every child in the school. Clementon is an extremely important first district and our children 10 from a variety of fractured home situations. It is important to have the small school environment in order for these children to be successful.

WHS graduate '88. Town resident 48 yrs. Former district employee. It is embarrassing what has happened to this school district. It has to stop. We were once at the top of the state and are now at the bottom. We must change. The children deserve better.
