Misinterpreted, everything. Whitmire did what he was supposed to do. His job is to keep his students safe and that's exactly what he did. He never encouraged the protest, nor was the leader. He didn't go on the streets to protest, he went out there to keep his students safe.

Being a alumni from Pittsburg High School of class 2016 I know very well that Whitmire would never "encourage" something without having a reason. He encouraged the students that they need to be heard but did not encourage them to walk out of class and start causing chaos, he warned students there would be consequences but the studets didn't listen.. Whitmire can't control all the students at once so he did what he had to do. He was responsible enough to follow the students and ensure that they didn't get harmed, he kept everyone safe. Reminds me of the walk out for teaches last year, he didn't encourage it but he told us that our voices matter &' when we walked out knowing the consequences he was still right there watching us to make sure we got to the school district and back to school grounds safely. I can sincerely say that Whitmire enjoys his job and cares deeply for his students and staff.

He was being responsible and looking iut for his students. The protest was organized by students and he had nothing to do with it. He was being a good principal and took the faullt by looking iut for us

From what I heard, it was a misunderstanding. All jokes aside, he was really just looking out for his students and making sure they were safe while protesting.

Mr.Whitmire had nothing to do with this there was plenty of times he told us to turn around and go back but we didn't listen so he was doing his job but what else could he do.
