I am open to changes and improvements at White Pond. We should have an opportunity to review it in detail including a vote at town meeting

White Pond is a precious resource to be protected as a natural haven (like Walden) - not a playground. There are other places for that.

Please please preserve White Pond as it is. Our family has been residents since 1955. It is a very special place that should not be further developed, but rather preserved for existing owners and members to enjoy.

Let's preserve and improve White Pond as it is and not over develop the area.

Natural beauty and natural resources deserve our steadfast protection, not least because they protect us.

Please preserve this unique and beautiful pond that has such a delicate ecosystem. It is such a gem and it would break my heart if it was developed.

Please preserve our natural resources. Leave nature "natural." Moratorium is a great idea. No tree removals.

Please take to time to do it right. The current plans indicate the Removal and Disposal of an existing catch basin and infiltration chamber system. It seems that no one took the time to find the design for this system so it could continue to provide its benefit in preventing nutrient laden runoff from directly entering the Pond.

The trees should not be removed. With the recent issues with the pond bacteria, this could only make things worse.

Inadequate access to details of the plan. Changes need to be more limited in order to protect the land and the pond.

The zigzag trail defies practicality, common sense and a critical goal: "to preserve White Pond and its shores as a place of historic interest and natural beauty" This hill will be totally transformed with 1/2 to more trees cut down. What is the purpose for all this over development on this small hill.

I strongly support a moratorium so as to preserve the natural beauty of White Pond

The evergreen and deciduous trees SUPPORT the steep, sandy banks. I recommend putting railings on both sides of the existing “new” steps to make them safe. Regarding the handicap walkway that no handicap person would ever take, there are 6 existing spots for handicap parking down below that are NEVER filled to capacity.
