We need our 2 coal fired electric plants in Clover, VA to stay open. We can not have reliable electric with out them right now. My wife needs her oxygen machine to live! Thank you.

The plants and the mines had given me a career from 1979 until 2000. Which then I became a trades instructor until 2017. Now retired.

So many good jobs lost when coal fired plants are closed. Not to mention the high paying coal mine jobs. We need to stand up & put an end to this nonsense

There is absolutely nothing as reliable, flexible, and resilient as coal fired power. WAKE UP AMERICA. We destroy ourselves as countries like China who have absolutely no emissions control grow stronger.

Coal is reliable and sustainable, many people work in this industry. Wind and Solar are not reliable, they are not as clean as people think. The amount of energy to manufacture, Wind and Solar leave a very larger carbon footprint. They cannot keep up with the demand, brownouts and blackouts, plus the amount of electricity for electric cars enormous.

All of our power plants are still in great shape, and need to be left running . Did they not see the problems they had when the HEAT WAS TOPPING OUT OVER 110 degrees. So let’s go ahead and shut the heat off to the White House the capital and to every congressman in women’s homes so they have no power whatsoever or any back up power and let them feel the wrath of why we need our power plants back online there’s plenty of coal all we need to do is get rid of the stupidity in Congress and get this problem resolved ignorance is of no excuse. Leave the plants running people.
