These short start centres need to be kept. They are for the WHOLE family not just the child. Amazing places and we are loosing too many.

Children's centres play a vital part in early years provision and have been the saviour of many a confused and depressed new parent. I don't know what I'd have done without my local children's centre in the early days. That they have so many offerings for no or nominal cost is fabulous and they play a good role in developing a happy, equal community fot children and their parents, regardless of socio economic status. We need to fight the cuts to vital services like these and I implore you to keep Wendell Park Children's Centre open

The children's centre is fantastic. It provides a a fantastic facility for babies, children and carers. It also provides a support network for carers to meet. It's always extremely busy. I'm sure many of the people who attend would be happy to pay a small donation to attend stay and play. Closing the centre would be a huge loss to the community.

This is crazy!! We need our children's centres, they are essential to mums, new or second timers (or more) and can really provide the support and friendship for parents and carers particularly in the early days but the many that follow also with one or more children. They provide a sanctuary and safe place during challenging times, and an accessible place for all. They provided essential starts in life for babies, toddlers and beyond. Please do not allow this centre to close!!

This centre was a saviour when my son was a baby and my older daughter was having behaviour issues. Please reconsider closing such a wonderful local resource open to all who need it.
