They can't close down VETS.... we are not just a community we are a family. V-E-T-S VETS VETS VETS!

Warwick vets is the best high school and if u close it that will be a big mistake because a lot of people care about that school and ik I will always be a hurricane nothing else so good luck trying to put me in another school cuz I will not go to pilgrim that school sucks and it is sinking so if u were going to close any school close pilgrim

Vets is a great school! This doesn't seem like a good plan. It lacks important details and has many errors.

I feel that it is poor taste to present a "plan" that hasn't been fully prepared. What is the safe capacity of these other schools, are we going to exceed this? Will teachers era all be able to keep what you consider a normal class size safe? You should not be viewing our children as $$$ they are our future and much more and they deserve the best!! This "plan" is NOT it.....

Closing vets is ending a major chapter in the history of Warwick. I know that the number of children attending schools has dropped over the past 30 years, but that means we need to find ways to bring numbers back up. Closing schools is just one more symptom of a city shrinking and becoming non existent. So many people over years have such great memories and closing would be a shame.

I loved vets and I really don't think it should be closed, I graduated from there last year and the faculty and staff there are unbelievable. Closing vets will not only effect the local community, it will effect the whole city. SAVE VETS!!

I think the Long term committee is a joke. Half the people on there have no qualifications for this and have no business being there

They state the only reason veterans memorial is being changed to a junior high is because it's more economical than to change pilgrim; where are the numbers? And the fact that our name represents the memorization of soldiers that have fault for our country, yet that apparently has no meaning either.

There is always a flux in attendance, closing Vets will not solve this problem. Putting students in trailers and over crowding classrooms at Tollgate and Pilgrim is not the answer.

Closing Vets, Aldrich,& Gorton is a ridiculous idea. No one has explained how this will save money with all the added busing that will be needed, plus more bus drivers/monitors;& gas prices.Plus there's been no mention of how these closures will affect the schools atheletic teams. Many kids play sports in hopes of getting college scholarships, there's no way all the kids who currently play will all be able to continue once schools are closed. Not thought out.
