It's unfair to the students already at the school to have to continue their education somewhere else because of money. Honestly, education should be more important than money.

My son has been put through the ringer for years since he was in elementary school its time for him to think about learning when in school rather than every year wondering if his school is closing. Amen VETS will remain open.....

We already went through this in the 80's. More students in each school means bigger class size. Does not make sense.

I feel if you should decide to close Veterans Memorial High School it would not be in the best interest of the children. The children would not get the individual one on one that some children need due to over crowding. More and more programs will be cut such as sports,art,music,. The drop out rate will increase due to childrens frustration in not getting there needs met. The bullying of other children will increase due to children getting frustrated and bored with programs being cut. In a nut shell this plan of closing the schools needs to be more thought out . Is it really the best interest for the children. I highly doubt it.
We can't afford to save money at the expense of our children. This plan

Katie i completely agree with you. They don't realize that they are not splitting up a school they are splitting up a family. The whole school is a family. Also most of us are going to have to figure out the lay out of the new school its like figuring out a new house you have never seen before and just getting a year to figure it out.
