My kids love the Warringah aquatic Centre. The new outdoor area is great and what a waste to demolish it straight after renovating. We also have swimming lessons there twice a week which are so much better than anywhere else we have tried. Nowhere else offers diving lessons also.

I have been a patron of Warringah Aquatic centre since I was a girl playing waterpolo back in the early 80's! Since then, I have had 3 children all attend swim schools, school swimming carnivals, waterpolo games and have even attended yoga classes there years ago! Please don't move the Aquatic centre

I regularly swim at the Aquatic Centre and had my daughter swim at many long course competitions there. While I think it needs to be refurbished I don't see any point in wasting money to knock it down.

Requesting Northern Beaches Council to please reconsider demolishing the Warringah aquatic centre swim pools without having a similar size and facilities available immediately in a 5km radius of the current site. I am in favour of a demolishion if there is no time gap between the closure of the old and opening of the news

This amazing venue has been in the community for so many year. Brings community, family and friends together and holds so many memories for so many of us while we were are school having carnivals. I want to keep the aquatic Centre!!!

If the WAC is closed, it won't ever be rebuilt, so this wonderful facility will be lost for ever. The suggested 'new pool' for the hospital precinct area will probably end up being nothing more than a 20m pool, fully booked out by hospital rehab patients?

Build a hospital and close a facility that improves the health of local residents? Makes no sense. Save the WAC!

Warringah Pool is such an important part of our community. Children have swimming lessons there. This is so important in reducing drownings in Australia. Schools use Warringah pool for school carnivals which is an important part of the school curriculum. Familys meet together to have fun swimming, this builds community. When we have dangerously high temperatures, this is the place people in the community will come too,to cool down and keep safe from the harsh sun. I urge you to keep this important centre in our community open until another is built elsewhere.

My kids use the facility for squad training. I was devastated to hear of the proposed closure. We don't have enough facilities on the Northern Beaches as it is. It should be kept open.

Pool is great. 50m indoor pool and outdoor pools will not be recreated in proposed precinct. Be a shame to lose it.
