Wallingford Playfield has long been a community gathering place. Replacing this grass field with turf will mean that this treasured community space will be forever altered in the name of high school athletics. This park will be reserved by schools and rec leagues and will be less available for broader community use. We all deserve to use this park. Please preserve this beautiful resource for all to use! NO TURF AT WALLINGFORD PLAYFIELD! KEEP OUR PARKS NATURAL!
