I was born and raised in Bay Ridge and an alumni of VA. Bay Ridge wouldn’t be the same without VA. It has to be landmarked immediately!

It great are Cardinal can live in a 30 million dollar mansion. The Catholic Church is dying because of its greed!
Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.

I support wholeheartedly all efforts to save this haven of traditional values, superior education, and elegance that is Visitation Academy. In a society whose core values are deteriorating all around us, VA has been a last outpost of Catholic teaching in an environment where girls are valued and celebrated, enriched and empowered. All this while maintaining a culture of kindness and age-appropriate behaviors. To lose all this is a devastating loss indeed. And somehow a betrayal of all that is trustworthy in our faith.
I , for one, will do whatever it takes to save this beautiful piece of Heaven in our midst.

I went to visitation many many years ago. I’m 66 right now. My nieces went there. It is a wonderful, beautiful school, and it should stay around from many many years to teach other children what we all have learned in the past.

This is a great good that has been around for a very long time, it would be a shame to see this school go.
