Save Visitation

We live across the street - Just like the students and families, we do not want to see a beautiful chapel demolished or empty school desks thrown with garbage on the corner.  The only reason why this is happening is greed - just like other brooklyn locations that have been replaced by condos, affordable housing, or migrant centers - everyone knows what is going to happen.. it doesn't need to happen. The people in charge will come to light - the fat always rises to the top - any institution (usually legendary) that has been sold off, is almost always done by greedy politicians and their helpers. Sometimes it's the people you think helping you who are the ones hurting you. Something to think about!  This school is so unique and this gem should not be desecrated and destroyed!

Save Visitation - a property like that is one in a million and should never be treated like its disposable! You cant discard faith and formation with young ladies.. It's irreplaceable

All students deserve the right to an education! Let alone a prestigious all girls Academy in the heart of Brooklyn. There is no property like it - and there is no experience that can compare. Please save the Sacred Heart Chapel and such a special school. None of the children should be deprived - its deplorable whats happening!

I heard many sisters would transfer back to Bay Ridge - they did not want to be transferred in the first place! Quite convenient to make sure there were only 2 left before announcing the closing! Other nuns would happily come to Bay Ridge to continue the VA tradition. We need to keep Visitation alive for future generations to come

Save Visitation - my mothers alma mater and a number of relatives have passed through those big gates and come out wonderful women who are raising beautiful girls with the hopes of also attending such a special school. Sacred grounds should never be touched! Shame on everybody involved that's trying to end such a legacy of love. You have my support 1000%

Everyone deserves answers - everyone realizes that the school is being sold for the wrong reasons. The city cannot take over this beautiful gem in Bay Ridge!!

Almost 200 years this school has been educating young ladies - This should have been a landmark & I hope it gets preserved for another 200 years and then some
