This is a great event that helps students at Villa realize the importance of giving back as they work towards a common goal of fundraising for pediatric cancer. It would be heartbreaking to see it go and would send a bad message to students in my opinion.

Cannot think of one good reason to remove minithon from being a jem tradition! it does not take away from schooling, it does not take away from school funding, and it is a huge way the school gets recognized for community involvment and raising money for something every person cares about!!! Always more always better always with love, taking minithon away does not show that!!! Love villa, love villa with thon even more

This is an event that makes Villa so unique compared to other schools. Villa as a community that can do so much. Not only does this day spread awareness and help find a cure for pediatric cancer, it's a day that everyone looks forward to. If the student body wants more social events I am 100% sure they can find a way to arrange them. Villa should always and forever keep mini thon. It is just important to the students as it is to the kids we are dancing for.
