All 6 of my siblings were enrolled in Villa Private Music. Taking Villa’s Private Music away is taking away one of Villa’s great attributes. Music Programs are vital and have positive effects on students. This decision was highly illogical

As someone who studied in the school of music for 3 years of my high school career, as well as being a part of the choir for one year, the loss of such a valuable asset to this school would be terrible. Not only would it hinder the studies of the students interested in music and learning instruments, it also removes many passionate, musically inclined, people from the staff and community of Villa Maria. Overall, the termination of this program would be not only terrible, but also quite dimwitted.

Villa should Sears the opprtunity and lead by example. Turn this challenge into a positive learning experience for the students and respect the already committed commitments.

Choosing to cut a program that genuinely benefits students lives and allows them to experience the arts in such an intimate way is an example of where the school’s priorities are. Their priorities lie in showmanship, putting up an impressive front, and continuing to profit off students who have no voice in decisions that greatly affect them. If students were really he heart of Villa Maria, the administration would choose to put its current and future students interests and goals above their own profit and veneer of perfection. The school is constantly under fire for its bad choices and cover ups because students, teachers and parents alike are starting to see under their facade and unveiling the truth; we aren’t going to be taken for fools.

Villa is already trash. They should at least keep the music school or else there won’t be anything left!

Je pense que ce n’est pas une bonne idée d’annuler ce cours qui laisse aux jeunes la chance de s’exprimer d’une manière mélodieuse des sentiments qu’ils ressent.

We pay so much money every year and we have no idea where the money goes... we never have any fieldtrips just stupid retreats we have to pay for ourselves and nothing is ever fixed and now they are taking away private music? Nice going villa.

the music school was one of villa's best qualities... but i guess having ipads and useless technology rooms is what's going to make this school stand out, right? continue to ignore the most important aspects of villa's culture and history, admin. you'll be sure to make tons of money off of that, since making a profit is all you really care about anyway.

This is really dumb having private lessons is a great plus to your school and puts it above others. Furthermore, even if it doesn’t make you lots of money it’s still worth it for the development of the kids and for your school
