I joined Vidant Wellness when it opened. When I retired I made my health top priority. I did Hearts N' sync, Zumba, chair yoga, and line dancing.. This gym staff treats us with respect even though we are senior citizens. This is the first gym that I have stayed wth and kept going. I have made lifelong friends while attending. There is no gym in Greenville that will be there for our needs. Please please reconsider.

I have been a member maybe 20 plus years as long as the center been open. I work out at least 5 days a week. I am truly sadden by the decision to close Vidant Gym. There is no other gym in Greenville that offer what Vidant have to offer including the indoor pool, educational classes and outdoor walking track.

Hello my name is Fredi Hernandez in my humble opinion I would not like it for this place to close . It has helped a lot of people in the Community one way or and other. Having a place like this has been a blessing for family member, fathers, mothers, grand parents , seniors and kids of all ages. Helping members of the Greenville Community Whit the new life style. From physical activities, learning activities, facing new challenges like learning how to swim, Zumba classes and the most important the nutrition program they offer. I understand we are facing hard times and on situación like this comes with hard decisions. As a 15 years, been part of this awesome City and Community If would be sad seen a place like this to go away. If is any way or a way that I could provide and small hand to help you can count on me.

Please keep the Wellness Center open. My son in law Jason Speaker has given his heart and soul to this company and its members for many years.

This center is loved by many and especially my family! Shutting down is a horrible decision that will greatly effect our entire community!

There is not enough room on here for all the words needed to express how important this center is in Greenville! Closing this center will truly be devastating to so many who rely on what it offers. Physical fitness, rehabilitation, life changing guidance and sense of community that can not be replaced anywhere in the city. Vidant Wellness is essential!

I was so proud to be a member of an organization who stood behind the altruistic principles of putting the wellness of Eastern North Carolina as their focus on which to build an exemplary statement of how a perfect world would exist. I no longer hold that respect for Vidant. To me Vidant is less than mediocre and will not be remembered as an entity who stood behind principles to change a world that is begging for hope. Your stock adage of promoting wellness means nothing .. they are words concocted from a high priced advertising agency. Rather than wellness Vidant stands for promoting illness so their profits exceed expectations.

Reconsider

Need to reconsider and work with the paying members to try and work out a better plan than shuttering the facility. Would have thought management would have been looking for ways to cut costs and see if members were willing to pay more. Just shows short sidedness when only one side is represented.
