If Vidant is all about the health and wellness of the community, how are you doing to close one of the greatest attributes of delivering health and wellness?

I am so sad to see my health facility close. I have been a member for almost 20 years. I am 84 years old and have used this facility to keep me healthy. I have made so many friends, especially in water aerobics. We have become a special "family" who care about each other and our families. Thanks, Spencer, for being my personal trainer. You are super! Please keep this facility open!

My husband and I are both members of Vidant Wellness Center and having been going for numerous years. We are willing to pay more just to keep the doors open.

Vidant Health and Fitness Center is so much more that what its name says. It is a social center for many, many members as well as a comfortable, inviting place to encourage a healthy lifestyle for people of all races, genders, economic status and ages. Please reopen.

I researched EVERY gym in the area before choosing Vidant Wellness Center. It is the only facility with the equipment and activities that I need. PLEASE RECONSIDER CLOSING!

I have been going to this gym since I was a little kid going there for summer camp. For 20 years I have been coming here. I just now started back into a routine there before COVID. My dad has struggled with high blood pressure and arthritis for years and started going there to work out and looked forward to it every day after work and his doctors and I were seeing so much improvement in him and his health. Please do not take this gym from me and my family for it has given us so much.

My new job after retiring from the hospital has been going to the center 5 days a week. I love water aerobics but also lifted weights and walked there. Someone made the decision to lower the monthly cost by 50% starting January 1st. That was nice but I would gladly go back to paying more for being able to once again meet my social and physical needs.

I have always boasted about the Vident Wellness Center to my family in PA. Professional staff, super clean, a wide variety of programs for complete health and wellbeing. The Vident Wellness Center is family to me!

There is no other place like Vidant Wellness Center in Greenville. Unparalleled in Eastern North Carolina. Unlike all other “work out venues” Vidant embraced the diversity of our community and The physical and mental needs of their members.
