This is the only facility on our side of town. I have been a member since it started. I have bad knees (bone on bone) and enjoy water aerobics

This is the only gym on my side of town. It is convenient to my house and job, which allows for lunch break work outs. The center is always clean! The staff is always welcoming and knows your name.

I was a member of Viquest years ago!! It’s my all time favorite gym. I moved away and join another gym. But I would buy a day pass or 7 time card when ever I was in the area.

Only facility located on this side of Greenville and also offers childcare for parents that need it in order to exercise. The decision to close is a mistake.

As a 10+ year member I credit the gym and especially the exercise staff with improving the quality of my life. I was overweight and couldn’t even swim half a lap.

This place is too crucial to the health & wellbeing for too many people in the community. There must be a better option.

Your decision to close VWC is not only tragic to your loyal and competent employees but it is a huge disappointment to the people, especially Seniors, of the community. Please re-examine your financial management data and have your Board reconsider our gym remain open. Our health and well-being are at stake.

Been a member since it opened.
Hate to see it close. I’d pay a larger fee to help keep it open.
Will really miss the water aerobics.

I was an instructor when we were Healthquest, then moved to here as Viquest, then Vidant Wellness. I’ve brought up my children here ages 16, 12, and 3. We are family. The seniors are my hero’s! I’ve always dreamed of retiring and growing old here. We need more people less sick. We need Vidant Wellness Center. From the nursery to the senior class, we are family.

What strategies were implemented to try to improve the margin? I would be willing to donate my time and financial analyst skills to evaluate and strategize options for revenue enhancement, cost reduction and increasing membership in order to save VWC. I've worked in financial roles for 4 hospitals and have knowledge of numerous margin improvement strategies for healthcare services.

This is a source of healing and recovery for so many in our community. This will be a great loss to Pitt country not to mention putting many talented individuals out of a job.

This is a heartbreaking loss for my family, friends, my health and the health of eastern NC. Keep the staff in your prayers and let’s all work for a resolution.

Water aerobics means the world to many. The gym and other activities so important to so many people and their health. Raise the dues or whatever can help staying afloat for needy people.
