Advocating for what we believe in is a very important trait and it demonstrates our character. The downtown historic railway is part of Vancouver's history and is a cause well worth advocating for. At a time when many cities look to embrace their heritage it is a shame to see Vancouver considering letting more of its hertage go.

This is an important piece of BC history that needs to be saved. Vancouver City Council needs to wake up and realize that spending so much money on "greening" Vancouver (insert "bike lanes" here) should not come at the expense of losing parts of the community that we can all celebrate and cherish.

I think it's something special for Vancouver and a great connection between the Canada Line and Granville Island during the summer. It would be a shame to see it gone forever!

This is part of our history folks!!! not to mention how much the city spent to upgrade the line for the olympics!!! What a waste to get rid of it now!
