This is a great program with a tremendous tradition. UWO Soccer has contributed richly to the storied fabric of Wisconsin Soccer and now demands a defense from the very community it has served these many years. To premeditatedly stifle opportunities for our young men who have worked hard to realize their ambition to play for a championship calibre program is an injustice that demands a response. Let's not sit idly by while administrators continue to suggest that "tough choices" need to be made and with ease suggest athletics and men's soccer, at an institution where the program has for many years been synonymous with excellence, is an appropriate victim. If soccer isn't saved, Oshkosh will miss out on great athletes and awedome people! it's just as important as every other sport and does NOT deserve to be cut! Please do all you can to save this program!

I played 4 years at St. Norbert and the Oshkosh match was always highlighted on our schedule. I would hate to see such a great program get axed because of state-issued budget cuts... If there wasn't a freeze on tuition we wouldn't see this happening all over the state.
