The farm is an asset to the area and should be preserved. So many developments are already in progress do we possibly need more in such a rural area? In addition the traffic in the lane is increasing at an alarming rate.

Ribbon development down a single track lane which can't support existing traffic and the rape of a viable farm is totally unacceptable

Please leave this farm alone the tenants have worked hard to make it successful. Develop Manydown and leave Bramley alone it is overdeveloped amd is no longer a rural village.

It’s funny how when I had applied for planning in the past on a residential property in a cul-de-sac location for a minor extension, it was declined on the grounds of it ‘NOT BEING IN KEEPING WITH THE SURROUNDING SETTING’....yet the councel have no qualms with developing a hard working farm and picturesque countryside with detrimental effects on Cufaude Lane (which is a listed National Cycle Route) and surrounding area!!

Questionable integrity and impartiality of the planning process in Basingstoke and Deane!
Manydown farm was excluded from the development plan despite it being purchased for that purpose in 1996.
Council decided to develop Pyotts Hill and Basingstoke Golf Club but as they lost the court case to develop Pyotts Hill they turned to the Chineham/Popply and now Bramley & Cufaude Lane and still excluded Manydown from the plan!

NO more building - Bramley is already overcrowded on the roads- very dangerous. We should keep Widgit's Farm and the land - why don't we grow food instead of importing everything?

It would be a shame if this farm was to be given over to housing development when BDBC have more than enough alternative land supply at Manydown, which was purchased for the SOLE purpose of replacing Local Authority housing stock sold off in the 80's & 90's, which would allow this small farm to continue and prosper. Basingstoke Council please respect our countryside and heritage, please reject any request for development on this land.

The farm is a great asset to the local area. The tenants have worked hard to build up their business. The lane is part of the national cycle network and is already dangerous during the rush hour

Traffic on Cufaude Lane has multiplied manyfold over recent years, and is now routinely dangerous for the cyclists, walkers and animals that also use it.
I note that BDBC has failed to put forward detailed plans for building at Manydown, which would relieve pressure elsewhere, and has gerrymandered boundaries to put Upper Cufaude Farm outside Bramley Parish for planning purposes, thus taking it outside the established Bramley Local Plan.
The UK is a serious risk of food insecurity and steadily increasing " food miles" which directly impacts CO2 emissions.
Upper Cufaude Farm would, in addition to providing local food, be able to provide an educational resource: it is owned by Hampshire County Council.

This farm matters! It should be retained and used to feed our population, to keep our open spaces open. And to let children visit so they can have some idea of where their food comes from and how it is grown. SO IMPORTANT.
