Replace a rare sports facility with a common parking lot, so that those who tell us to be more active can exercise less themselves? Seems counterintuitive.

I just started learning archery this summer. I learned so much form the classes. And I really want to learn more about archery. Please do not remove the archery field!!!

The community of the women's club soccer team was pretty much the only reason I didn't transfer away from UCSD after my sophomore year. Closing this field and impacting the success of these teams would be a major loss to campus culture and camaraderie.

Maintaining a balance of land uses at UCSD should be an ongoing process and while their are multiple competing priories, I believe the sports deck should be retained, or if it is removed, replaced.

I play soccer with the ucsd men's club team and losing this field would be terrible. We have games and practices at the field, and if we lose it, we'll be forced into a smaller space at other fields.

In these days of growing obesity and inactivity in all,age groups, replacing athletic fields with parking lots is not the direction we need to be going in.

The field space is not just for UCSD students; people of all ages have come here to play sports, from adults practicing together to kids taking rec classes. Replacing the Sports Deck impacts not only UCSD students, but also the neighboring community at large.

Amid constant concerns of global warming, and an increasingly obese population, school administrators would prefer to pave an existing green space and eliminate a venue for physical activity. Where is their long-term vision...
