NM Gov't - you're ok spending $25M per year operating the Rail Runner that hardly anyone cares about, and then you try to get rid of Uber/Lyft that people love. You must be fools unless your purpose is to drive down population and slow the economy.

My husband & I wanted to celebrate our Anniversary at Savoy restaurant. In order to be safe from drinking & driving, we ordered a taxi to take us there. A round trip ride from Nob Hill to Montgomery & Eubank was $60!!!!! We did the same exact thing when Uber came to town. The price was for round trip...$16!!!! No brainer. SAVE UBER!!!!!! (And Save the Whales)

Albuquerque needs to stop running businesses that fuel our economy! I love both uber and lyft and would be so devastated if their services weren't available!

Recently I stopped a neighbor from driving home drunk. She agreed to call a taxi, the wait, she was told, was 15 minutes. 90 minutes later the taxi still had not arrived. Where was the taxi? WHERE WAS THE TAXI? As a frequent user of Uber I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes and they ALWAYS show up! Allow this important service to operate in NM. It keeps our families safe, provides jobs for individuals needing part time, flexible work and is simply a safe, fun way to get around our beloved city and state.

Uber and Lyft are the best things to happen to this city since the creation of green Chile dip. It would behoove the people of this city to keep these services unless you want to see DUI rates increase but I'm just thinking out loud.

Uber is a needed service. They are not a taxi / limo service and should not be treated as one. All drivers are independent and earning income which goes back into the local economy.
