This park is one of the best parts of living in Cambridgeport. It's a safe place for dogs to run off leash and a wonderful place to meet local dog owners. It creates a nice sense of community. I've never, ever noticed loud barking and our dog went their daily for the last eight years.

Agreed with all the people that if Animal Control wants to do something useful they should ticket people who don't pick up after their dogs, or people who let their dogs run wild where they shouldn't. Dogs should have a space they can enjoy. People who don't want to live near a dog park shouldn't. I certainly wouldn't want to live near a school, but I wouldn't try to shut one down after moving too close.

This is one of the few places dogs can play off leash. Some dogs bark when they play, ticketing owners seems very harsh.

Dogs bark - that’s what they do. They and their humans need a place to run and play and grow in the city.

with the pandemic, there is not much to enjoy. A walk with a dog is therapeutic

I love this park and I am coming every day here with my dog. My dog has a lot of fun and I don't want to be paranoid and afraid if he barks once or twice :)

A better use of Animal Control's time and city budget would be to visit Danehy dog park routinely and ticket the regular and frequent visitors whose dogs do not have Camb licenses, nor do they pick up after their dogs. I have seen Animal Control there twice in one year and I am there daily. People come from all over Boston. and towns surrounding Camb. Belmont has no dog park. etc. Walkers also bring more than three dogs, which is a violation and dangerous for those of us who pay taxes and license fees for our dogs to bark on.

OMG dogs bark. That's why dog parks exist. They also need a place to blow off steam and be dogs. If you don't like dogs barking, don't buy a $$$ condo right next to a dog park. If you don't like kids screaming, don't by a $$$ next to a school. Tudor is pretty out of the way to begin with.

Great park with a nice sense of community among the pups and owners. So great to have a source of water for hot days.

Let the dogs be dogs! Post some signs asking owners to be more attentive to dog barking.
