I went to Trinity for 10 years and it is not the school that it used to be. But I think it can be.

Our school is too important to our children, families & town to allow it to close!

My two children have attended this school for the last couple of years. They both love this school, the teachers and the friends they have made while at Trinity. I thought this would be the school they would stay at until 8th grade. I'm hoping things will work out so the school will stay open.

The closest Catholic schools to St. Martinville are all 20+ minutes away. How will the closure effect the growth of our two parishes? Why are all the good things effiliated with St. Martin de Tours faiding away. No youth group, no youth choir, no family fun day, no St. Lucy Lights Festival, and now no school? What is going on here?

I am an alumni of Trinity, I have taught there, my child attends Trinity, and we were registering our second child this week but were turned away. I feel that the parents and faculty have not been informed in a fair manner, and I believe the diocese owes us the opportunity to show them how much we really want Trinity in our community - unlike what is being implied.
