Urgent Notice ... to Trenton and surrounding area residents our hospitals have been shunned by the State's largest health insurer and Governor Christie's Administration has given approval for Horizon BCBS to EXCLUDE St. Francis Medical Center and Capital Health from their most affordable & heavily promoted new health care plan: HORIZON OMNIA... These actions have placed their most affordable plan beyond the reach of Trenton residents and this means OUR HOSPITALS COULD CLOSE AND OUR JOBS COULD BE LOST.

WE CANNOT BE SILENT WHILE URBAN HOSPITALS AND COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE ARE MARGINALIZED!

• Imagine the possibility of not having the Number One Cardiac Hospital right here in Trenton! Imagine not having a Level Two Trauma Center or Maternity and Neonatal Hospital here in our area!!!
• Imagine going to the hospital and being told you can't receive treatment because your insurance coverage doesn't cover this hospital, or better yet, receive treatment and get a bill that you think will cost you a $50 co-pay and ends up costing you $1500 to $4500, this could happen... if our hospitals aren't designated as Tier 1.

Let's understand this more ... the tier system has absolutely nothing to do with the level of care you get, it's strictly about the money!!!

• Our hospitals provide excellent care to their clients ...
• St. Francis received Horizon's Quality Award and is the Number One Cardiac Care Hospital in this area!!!
• Capital Health has the only Maternity and Neonatal Ward in our area and the only Level Two Trauma Center in the Trenton area and both hospitals have Tier 1 physicians as designated by Horizon.

So, why doesn't Horizon BCBS add them to Tier 1 list.

Let's ask them by signing this petition.

Trenton deserves an answer.
