Public transport is already quite poor in this part of London(eg: no tube) why causing more misery to commuters they deserve better.

It is estimated that nearly 4,000 people use the direct services each morning.

This is a horrible disruptive decision made by Thameslink without any regard for their commuters. How on earth does it make sense to cancel a service that is always ALWAYS full and rather than adding more trains, they cancel it!

This is a vital local service that people depend on, people make lifestyle choices based on their commute and they should not be disadvantaged by this short sighted proposal . I also have serious concerns for the impact this could have on an already jammed Hayes line service at stations like Clock House and New Beckenham.

We need these trains! We will be cut off from central London without them.

I commute daily from Penge East to City Thameslink and without this service I would not be able to get to work on time after dropping my child off at nursery. It is a critical route that I and other rely on. Please reconsider the timetable adjustments to scrap this route. Kind regards Lucy

Being severely sight impaired I use this service to get to the RNIB building in Judd Street. The alternative route on the Victoria line to King's Cross is slower and much more arduous.

Please keep these much needed services! The trains are always full to bursting and this will add further pressure to already overcrowded services via Shortlands and Herne Hill to Kentish Town, Bedford, St Albans and Luton. Too many passengers and not enough trains! This service should be expanded, not cut!

These trains are always busy - proof that they're an essential part of the transport link for this area.

Not good to be reducing public transport services when London is so congested.
