Trackside is one of the most valuable things that Wilton has to offer to teens. At any given monent, Trackside has something for kids to do: trivia nights, game nights, movie nights, videogame tournaments, and open mic nights are offered almost weekly. Aditionally, Trackside supports possitive messages, and encourgaes empowerment. A place where everyone can feel safe, many kids regurlarly go there after school. Trackside is also a rentable space for summer camps and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Whenever me and my friends go there, we are sure to have fun. Unfortunatly, Trackside is being threatened by a proposed funding cut by the Wilton Board of Selectman. Sign this petition to help save this treasure.

The silence from the Wilton Board of Selectmen persists despite our ongoing efforts to highlight the value of this space. I am currently preparing a formal summary of your testimonials to present at the next public meeting.

Trackside has been a safe place for my kids to socialize and attend amazing events like self defense and holiday fun. I’ve been to many fund raisers and school events there too because they keep the rental rate low and the space is great. Please keep Trackside open for students!!
Trackside has been a safe haven for many a teen in Wilton. Under the current board at Trackside, event attendance has been considerably higher than ever before. The varied types of events have drawn kids together that might not otherwise have had to opportunity to interact. I think there are other places to cut the budget than Trackside.
Trackside offers a good social environment and activities to keep our teens engaged after school. I'm sure we would rather they not be hanging out vaping behind Town Green and other hangouts!
We are one of the only towns left with a Teen Center. This is a selling point for Realtor's in our Town. Trackside continues to build more and more ways to utilize the facility and accommodate many new faces everyday!
I go to Trackside for multiple clubs and enjoy there trivia nights among other special activities. I know countless others who also participate in activities held here from Super Smash Bros tournaments to training for a quiz bowl team. I am in full support of this petition as Trackside has impacted many of the youth of Wilton and has done good for the community.
Trackside is a gem and the heart for our school community, please help support this wonderful place.
Please DO NOT cut funding to trakeside- this is such a gem for our town!

We spent $10 million on Comstock, with an entire wing dedicated to senior citizens. Surely a teen center deserves a few dollars?
