Shame on the Irish government. You are keenly investing in the business area's of Ireland but tax payers on the island's are treated like third world countries. Get off your rear ends and protect our island's. Less time wasting money on non Irish people and more for Toraigh islanders. They are only asking for a boat to survive.

I fully support and agree with the islanders in their pursuit to what is a basic right and need in this day and age to enable their safe existence on their island and place of birth and homelife.
I have family and friends in Tory who we travel annually to visit, I have attended funerals in the depths of winter and without a safe, reliable and modern, purpose built boat for service this will no longer be possible.

Disgraceful the way these people were treated..The people of Tory are Irish citizens and tax payers and Irish speakers who are entitled to travel safely under Health and Safety regs like any other transport on this island of Ireland !!!
