Stop Oldham Council's attempt to destroy what little remains of our market. Have your say! Don't sit back, take action, stand up and be counted. Lets make the council aware of just how much WE, the people of Oldham, don't want an Asian Bazaar!!!
The momentum is undeniable. Oldham is speaking loudly and clearly now.

Oldham market needs to be restored back to how it used to be and get rid of the car park , and start supporting local businesses before we have nothing left to be proud of in Oldham .

It's Oldhamstocks heritage, it's been so famous in the past that people would come to Oldham in coach loads from all over just to shop in the market. Tommyfield was really famous and us Oldhamers were really proud of it, we would love it to go back to how it was.

I am 63 and I have systematically seen Oldham market slide into what it is - you could buy anything at one time on Oldham market now it's a farce - I am ashamed of it and Oldham Council

Greedy councillors have already torn down Mumps Bridge & sold off the metal to line their own pockets & ruined Oldham's Heritage without even letting the people of Oldham have a say & now they want to get rid of Tommyfield Market, Oldham Council is a joke

This could be a great opportunity, to bring Oldhams diverse cultures together, to allow an Asian Bazaar would only serve, to drive an even bigger wedge into the mix, than already exists
