After 20 years, Channel 4 have made the ridiculous decision to axe Time Team, to the disappointment of many viewers. The purpose of this petition is not to try and persuade C4 to continue Time Team, as they would not be likely to go back on their decision, but to show support and appreciation towards the team who worked so hard to produce one of the most (if not THE most) interesting and influential history shows ever to appear on TV. This petition is also a plea to another channel to pick up Time Team and continue to inspire generations of viewers and budding archeologists! Please show your admiration and support for the show and all the crew who have made Time Team what it is/has always been.
