I love hiking thomas and sitting in the cabin on a breezy day. This is my favorite hike and I'm super disappointment to hear the cabins getting torn down.

If it's not hurting anything leave it be! People have enjoyed that cabin for a long time don't waste taxpayers $ tearing it down. Use that money to hire more rangers where they are badly needed!

I just visited here in cold, blustery conditions. I'd love to come back to the cabin in nice weather and possibly stay in it!

Save the Thomas cabin! If it has to be removed at least make a leantoo in its place. This is a rare gem in the Adirondacks, hate to see this be removed over "saftey concerns" never got any explanations as to why, I think it would just be a total waste of time and energy if it was removed for nothing.
