This tattoo studio has been famous around the world since Tusch-Hans Hansen began tattooing here in 1902. To destroy this vital, living part of Danish folk history would be a colossally retrograde step, undermining Copenhagen's cultural history for no good puropse.

This shop is of cultural importance, planning should not permit change of use. It is of modern historical importance.

At this point this shop should be listed as historic, if they can continue to pay to be there why throw them out considering that this is a cultural icon. In the future they should also be given first right of refusal to purchase the building insuring that this church of tattooing is around for generations to come.

Noooooooo, don't close this down. I have a fabulous tattoo I got from here because of its history. The oldest tattoo Parlour in the world!!! That alone is good enough to stay open. The staff love their job, they offer top service and quality. Money can buy a lot of things but this Parlour gives you soul. Nyhavn 17 was my choice for picking Copenhagen as the city to spend my holiday. Art should never die but last forever and a life time~here to stay.
