This is so DUMB by the house owner, he/she should be ashamed already for just thinking about this! For an extra penny? What a stupid ...... , its like closing down a museum of art to make money instead of preserving the history it beholds,

This IS part of Nyhavn! Sitting directly underneath the much known and photographed Nyhavn 17, it is a strong link to the 1800s (and earlier) when Nyhavn (New Harbour) was a pretty rough part of town, full of drinking sailors. Sailors with tattoos! The presence of this shop is part of the allure and personality of Nyhavn. It is a lasting, living connection to the past that we do not want to forget. In my mind it is a historical landmark.

with 130 years of history, I feel very strongly that this studio is an absolute treasure not just of tattooing but of Copenhagen's culture as a whole. Please reconsider bringing such a rich history to an end.
