We all know who is to blame for these cut backs and it isn’t Worcestershire County Council. The Tory government are totally to blame for cutting central funding to Local Authorities. To compound matters they then blame Councils around the country for cutting back on local services!

As one who has and intends to use the archives in future this surely cannot happen. We need to save for ours and future generations.

History means to society what memory means to man/woman. Please do not reduce our ability to access and learn from our local history.

What are we but the sum of what's gone before? We all have to right to access our heritage. I keep hearing that we're a wealthy country, yet service after service is under threat. It has to stop

Remember it belongs to the public, and the government and Civil Service have volunterily accepted duties which include the protection of the citizens archives.

access to the local and general history of our country must be preserved to acknowledge how our ancestors lived.
