Save the Woodlands - Shenandoah Life Building Property

Please save these woods. There are so many of Gods creatures who call this home.

Unneeded and unnecessary development. Has nothing to do with Carilion's mission statement....

Opposed,opposed,opposed as well everyone who cares about our environment should be!

Natural areas need to be preserved for wildlife as much as for buffering from high density growth areas.

This is an interesting situation I find myself in. I am usually all in for business investment and commerce --which has had a lot to do with making America the economic power that it is. But now I am leaning more toward the NIMBY crowd. I guess that shows the wisdom of keeping government control as LOCAL as possible. If I have to choose between woods or apartments -- I am going with woods.

This pristine property is important for people and wildlife alike, and must be preserved as is. Do not develop this land!

We don't need apartments squeezed in that space.

Part of the character of this lovely city are the greenways and wooded areas tat arevstill left in the city. Please do not allow developers to come in and destroy the woods near Shenandoah Like building.

Please reconsider and relocate this project to a section of the City where it is needed and would result in positive change. Here, it would destroy something very special. Thank you for reading this.

I hope Carilion will reconsider. I use those trails for lunchtime walks in nature, not to mention the congested traffic issues that will ensue.

We love the woods behind our neighborhood and many animals enjoy safety and food in the area!

This oasis of tiny forest is important to the humans and animals who live in proximity, one of the places that defines "Quality of Life" in Roanoke.

While I understand the need for developing more rental housing in Roanoke.... This land is a unique, fairly pristine natural area in the heart of Roanoke, once it's lost you can't get it back.

My wife walked these trails daily. Don't destroy what little nature we have left inside our city limits! Secondly, you're going to create a traffic nightmare on an already congested and overused city thoroughfare.

Please don't take away our valuable and much needed green space for an apartment complex!

Even if you don't live with us in Grandin Court, think about how busy Brambleton Ave already is. Add 200Plus cars from Carilion Employees + 224plus cars for the apartment residents PLUS if Roanoke City sells the empty lot at Fishburn Park for another 200 plus cars. That's 624plus cars more added to one intersection. That's if each family only has one vehicle. This project is a detriment to All Roanoke City and County residents.

There is too much "development" as it is!! It's time to leave nature intact!!

Please leave the woodlands alone, they are a greater resource then new apartments that could be built elsewhere.

This proposal will not improve our neighborhood or city...quite the contrary! It will be a detriment! Please stop this plan!

Don't take away our green space that helps make Roanoke an attractive place to live.
