I never have had anything but pride being a Warrior in high school! It is sad to think that the Youche Dehi tribe would even think that we as Warrioes or Winters Residents would or do think that. And if they are offering to replace the gym floor hell go big request a whole new gym why not they have all this damn money that they believe will get them what they want!!!

This is ridiculous. Both of my daughters attended Winters Schools ALL through their school years. All three of my Grandchildern also . I just can't believe this after all these years has now become a problem?!! Stop all this and shame on who ever thinks this is appropriate.

I am going to be a junior at Winters high school. I am the Vice President of the block W and I play three sports and I put a lot hard work, effort, time and pride into into everything I do at the high school. I could never imagine my self or my team breaking out of a huddle yelling with pride anything other than "WARRIORS!". Growing up in winters and knowing that I was going to attend winters high school made time slow down. This happened because I couldn't wait to be a Winters Warrior. Taking away our mascot would take the all pride from the entire town. The high school inspires all the younger children in winters and encourages them to grow up and play sports, be in clubs and participate in activities at the high school. They too can't wait to be a warrior.
