The kids need a place to skate. Leave the kids on the streets and let's see what u will cause by allowing them to hang on the streets. Keep the entire skatepark!
I would also like my money back. I've made calls but I still have no answers as to how to get my money back.

The skate park is home to many people and is stupid that it is taking so long to fix but people who are tired of waiting are just hoping the fence like myself we need to stand up for skateboarders scooter riders rollerbladers and bike riders everywhere in riverhead flanders and calverton. We should post pictures on social media networks and on the sides of roads everywhere to help open the park once again.

Please keep the park. This is great place for kids to play and be safe. I travel almost 45 minutes to this park because there is not many parks like this and my kids love to ride there BMX bikes. If you tear it down the kids will be in the street. P.S. BMX is an Olympic sport now. This is one of the places these kids can train.

This park has been a benefit to the community for several years. It gives our children a place to be active and to socialize productively...think of the alternatives..wake up Riverhead..This is money well spent.
