Some kids are losing there local park. I have to do something about it.

I skated this park countless time with a skateboard and blades. I probably in took a bmx bike in here a time or two. Riverhead NEEDS a place for the youth to go! NOT TANGER, All we do is hang there, smoke and are tempted to shop lift! Riverhead needs a SAFE place for youth to go and have fun! taking away the bottom half of the skate park is pointless, it cut the capacity of the park in half or even more! I'm sure the youth of be more then happy to go to home depot, get the proper tools needed and fix the park themselves with proper guidance of the town's engineering/ parks and rec department!
LET THE YOUTH BE HEARD AND HAVE FUN! TAKING AWAY THE MAJORITY OF THIS PARK WILL JUST LEAVE KIDS AT ENDS AND THAT JUST SPELLS TROUBLE!

I've rode at this skatepark on numerous occasions and I always had fun. Cramming everyone up top is an unsafe move. Keep the bottom section and fix it up. It gives kids a place to go and ride/skate with friends. We need more parks on the island that are BMX, skateboard, scooter and rollerblade friendly. A lot of parks discriminate against us BMX guys and it's not right. So please fix the bottom half so we can continue to ride/skate with friends and enjoy this lifestyle! Thanks!

Keep the park! Not only will taking the bottom away disappoint the skaters, bike riders, scooter riders, rollerblades etc. it will cause more hectic problems and crashes.
