It's a shame how much money was put into this park to have it sit unused for so long and then toss the larger section out the window to make space for pickleball?? Can't you just use the regular tennis courts or set it up temperally in the hockey rink, instead you are going to lose the lower section of the skatepark, which is the bigger half, the better half and the more expensive half. All for a sport that barely anyone knows about that can happen inside the tennis courts that are used much less and are usually free. (And would cost the town zero dollars)They are robbing the children and community of approximately a million dollars since the park cost something around 1.5 and change to build. Close it down for a year and hope no one realizes what's happening? That's how we are doing things now??? Smh, just is not right
