Whitehall rec bandstand is part of our rugby heritage. Why not invite local bands to play there in summer to advertise this?

A great piece of British history should be preserved, we are the envy of the world because of our traditions and great historic buildings. Save the bandstand!

For years I was assured that the bandstand was in the programme to be repaired and restored for posterity. Such an historic building must be kept.

My love of athletics started here when taking shelter in the stand on Rugby AC nights. It must be repaired and maintained for future generations to enjoy and not lost forever.

How could they not save the bandstand. Also the playground equipment. Is the same as when my sixteen year old Grandaughte played on.

Please maintain and enhance this iconic area of the town centre - we don't want to lose yet more green space to housing.

The Bandstand and memorial garden are part of the heritage of Rugby and should be preserved and renovated to conserve the character of the area, and attract visitors and tourists

Age old council trick being played out, its called how to get rid of an asset. Let it fall into a state of disrepair then claim its unsafe, demolish it which equals spare money to spend on some unless pet project someone's thought up. Seen it done time and time again.

Restore and use it. Music in the summer, carols in winter, etc. Bring people back into the town
