Poor things... we really need to stop messing up the ocean before there is nothing left for them to eat.

Whales, a large group of mammals that can be found throughout the world. However, whales all over the world are in serious danger. There are many reasons they have become endangered but one main reason is climate change, also know as global warming, it is a term most of us have heard throughout our lifetime. But do we realize the extreme dangers it brings? Since the amount of greenhouse gases we use is increasing, the amount of gases going into our environment is increasing too (water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone). As a result, our atmosphere is keeping the heat in and the earths surface is warming up. This brings a major threat to not only us, but many species. One of those being the many species of whales. The temperatures of our ocean are increasing, and the whales must find a way to adapt to thrive with warmer water. Also, many species that the whales rely on for food are struggling too. The species of krill are beginning to dwindle from the climate changes, and the whales rely heavily on the krill as a food source. If we don't take action soon, in our near future, whales could be gone forever. So what can we do? You can: - Carpool - Walk or bike short distances - Use energy efficient lightbulbs - Conserve water in the shower - Use Energy Star appliances - Turn off your lights when you aren't in the room - Reduce, Re-use, Recycle - Buy local food or plant your own garden - Turn off electricity at home when you go on vacation - Switch to clean and re-usable energy

Whales are cool animals. Leave them alone humans.
